How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days. US standard shipping typically arrives 3 to 7 business days after dispatch. Full details in our Shipping Policy.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, free standard shipping on US orders of $80 or more. Below that, standard shipping is a flat $8.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We currently ship within the US only. International shipping is on the way; join our newsletter at the bottom of the page to hear when it launches.
How do I track my order?
Your shipping confirmation email contains a live tracking link. Full details on our Track Your Order page.
Can I change my shipping address?
Email support@dearalchemist.com as soon as possible. We can update your address only before your order has been processed.
My package says delivered, but I can't find it.
Check around your property and with neighbors, and contact your local post office within 7 days of the delivery date. If it still hasn't turned up, email us and we'll help with a carrier claim or a one-time replacement.
Returns & Exchanges
What if a product isn't right for my skin?
Every product is covered by the Alchemist's Promise. Try it for up to 60 days, and if it isn't right, we'll exchange it for something that fits your skin, with shipping free both ways. Store credit and refunds are also available. Full details in our Refund Policy.
Can I return an opened product?
Yes. Lightly used products with at least 75% remaining qualify. For your safety, opened skincare can never be resold, so returns follow the limits in our Refund Policy.
How do I start a return or exchange?
Email support@dearalchemist.com with your order number, the product, whether you'd like an exchange, store credit, or refund, and a photo of the remaining product. We'll reply within 2 business days.
My order arrived damaged. What do I do?
Email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We'll send a replacement at no cost, with no need to send anything back.
Subscriptions
How does subscribe and save work?
Subscribe on any product page to save 15% on every refill. Your products ship automatically on the schedule you choose.
Can I skip, pause, or cancel?
Anytime. Log in to Manage Subscription to change products, skip a shipment, pause, or cancel.
I forgot to cancel before my renewal. Can I get a refund?
If the renewal hasn't shipped yet, email us and we'll cancel it and refund you in full. If it has already been delivered, unopened products can be returned within 60 days of delivery.

How do I choose between the serums?
Match the serum to your goal: hydration → Hyaluronic Acid, the look of pores and uneven tone → Niacinamide, glow and the look of dark spots → Vitamin C, the look of firmness → Peptide+, a gentle retinol alternative → Bakuchiol. Each product page's Key Ingredients and How It Works sections break down what's inside and why.
Can I layer multiple actives?
Gentle actives like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and peptides layer easily. Stronger actives like retinol and brightening acids work best on alternate nights rather than stacked in the same routine.
Should I patch test?
Yes, with any new product. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm or behind the ear and wait 24 hours before first full use, especially with actives like retinol, vitamin C, or exfoliating acids. If you have a reaction, stop use and email us.
Are your products fragrance-free?
Our face care has no added fragrance. The one exception is our Vitamin C Serum, which contains a touch of orange peel oil. Our hair and body products are lightly scented.
Where are your products made?
Every formula is formulated, manufactured, and filled in the USA, in an FDA-registered facility that operates under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and follows ISO 22716 cosmetic manufacturing standards. Nothing is tested on animals.
Where can I see the full ingredient list?
The full ingredient list is printed on every product's packaging. For any product, email support@dearalchemist.com and we'll send it before you buy.
Are your products safe during pregnancy?
Retinol isn't recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Many people choose bakuchiol as a retinol alternative, but research on its use during pregnancy is limited, so please review your full routine with your doctor.
